Can I use just one product without the bundle?

Yes. Hero Savings is completely standalone with no subscription fee — you pay 15% of verified monthly savings, nothing else. For Hero Agents and Hero Copilot, the Starter plan lets you pick one product at $99/month. You can upgrade to the full Platform Bundle at any time and we'll prorate the difference. Hero Weekly Free is always free with no plan required.

How does the free Hero Savings audit work?

The free audit requires no credit card and no subscription. Connect your cloud account with a read-only IAM role (60 seconds), we scan all your resources across every region (2–3 minutes), and you get a full report with every wasteful resource and exact dollar amounts. If we find savings, you can apply fixes right away — and we only start charging 15% of the verified savings from that point. If we find nothing, you pay nothing. Ever.

What AI models power each product?

Hero Copilot uses Claude Sonnet 4.6 by default on all paid plans — it's fast, highly capable, and cost-effective for day-to-day infrastructure work. Enterprise customers can upgrade to Claude Opus 4.6, which offers maximum reasoning depth for complex architecture reviews. Hero Agents uses GPT-4o for AI processing blocks. Hero Savings uses a combination of rule-based analysis and AI for waste classification.

Is my cloud data secure?

Yes. For Hero Savings, we use read-only IAM credentials — we can never modify your infrastructure without explicit approval. Your raw cloud data is processed in memory and never stored on our servers. We store only your savings report. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). We're completing our SOC 2 Type II audit — enterprise customers can request our security documentation.

What integrations are supported?

Hero Agents supports 100+ integrations including Slack, Gmail, HubSpot, Salesforce, Zendesk, Notion, Airtable, GitHub, GitLab, Jira, Linear, and more. Hero Copilot integrates with GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, VS Code, Slack, and PagerDuty. Hero Savings connects to AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure. Custom integrations via webhook and REST API are available on Scale and Enterprise plans.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. There are no lock-in contracts on monthly billing. Cancel anytime from your dashboard — your subscription ends at the end of the current billing period. For annual plans, we offer a pro-rated refund within 30 days of purchase. No cancellation fees, ever.

Do you offer discounts for startups or nonprofits?

What's the difference between Sonnet and Opus for Hero Copilot?

Claude Sonnet 4.6 (default) responds in ~2 seconds and handles the vast majority of DevOps tasks excellently — Terraform generation, deployment debugging, architecture Q&A, runbook creation. Claude Opus 4.6 (Enterprise) takes ~5 seconds but offers significantly deeper reasoning for complex multi-service architecture reviews, security audits across large codebases, and nuanced cost optimization analysis. For most teams, Sonnet is the right choice.
